Will it work if I have crowns, veneers, or dental work?
Yes! Our retainers are custom-made to your exact bite, which means they work with most dental restorations—including crowns, veneers, bridges, and implants. If we spot an issue, we’ll reach out before making your guard.
Which type of retainer should I choose — upper, lower, or both?
Upper Retainer: Fits your top teeth only. Most people choose this if they had braces or aligners on just the upper arch, or if their top teeth are more prone to shifting.
Lower Retainer: Fits your bottom teeth only. Ideal if you only had treatment on your lower teeth or want to focus retention there.
Upper & Lower Retainers: Includes both top and bottom retainers. Choose this if your orthodontist recommends full-arch retention or you want maximum protection for your smile.

How long does it take to get my retainer?

How often should I replace my retainer?
Most people replace their retainer every 3 to 6 months, depending on wear. Heavy grinders may need replacements more often. If you're on a subscription, we make sure you always have a fresh one when you need it.

Uppers ok, lowers good. Need some trimming of edges, which can be done with scissors. For a mail-order guard, this is better than expected. DEFINITELY better than drug store options!

i’ve used Cheeky for some years now. This was my 4th? “one time” purchase as i lose them. sigh. they always come out perfect everything works great. The customer services is good as you could ask. retainers themselves are high-quality. They fit great and I get my answers to any questions really quickly within a day. I have one suggestion, it would be able to make retainers colored. I’m having difficulty finding them sometimes. they come out or I take them out and forget where I put them. if there was a way to color them in someway that would be helpful.
